A Preview of whats to come

I was just double checking the details of the farm where I am headed tonight, sight unseen. Except that I found these three photos of where I'm headed. Can I just say, for the record, that I can't WAIT!!!

The plan of action is set:  In approximately ten days, I'm off to Spain to begin learning about animal husbandry and cheese making. Now it's just a matter of packing (which will happen about four hours before my jet departs).

So the long term plan is this: go learn about animal husbandry and cheesemaking. See if I like it.
if YES:  return to NY and find a farm to work for a season, to learn more ins and outs of the operation. Then, buy farm. Get started.

So basically, if I HATE goats, if I find them stinky little stubborn critters (um, there's a reason stubborn children are called little goats, right?),  if I can't abide the little things, then its back to the vegetables for me.  I can live with that.
